Was looking for a local shop that did Hunter Roadforce balancing and found Lydall via the TireRack website as an authorized installer. I had just had 4 new tires done via TireRack Mobile and was still experiencing a shake in the chassis and steering wheel. Hoping that roadforce balancing would help, I reached out on a Monday morning and spoke with Mark. He was able to get me in the next day and I dropped my car off monday night. I received a call early on Tuesday with the good and bad news. Bad news, 2 wheels had slight bends, there was no way they'd balance. Good news, they were able to fix both wheels, RF balance all 4 wheels and get me back in business. This saved my ongoing stress of new, unbalanced tires but also not having to buy 2 new wheels. Upon pick up I was able to meet Mark and (John?) who did the work on my car. Once you find a solid, local "mom n pop" shop, you hold onto them as long as you can!!! Thanks guy, the car rides great and I just have to do a better job dodging potholes on our terrible roads!

Took my vehicle to this place as discount-tire online uses them for installation. Installation was way more then website stated. The alignment job was horrible one tire on all wheel drive car completely bald after 2.5-3k mileage. In rain I almost crashed because of this. A day after his work I had to take car back in because a tire was going completely flat in less then a day, he did repair this however. I can only wonder at this time what other suspension components are more worn or broken now because of this alignment. Ill update if that is case but taking elsewhere because of this instance. I tried to contact him and as he did pick up the phone his tactic was to reroute me to when convenient for him when all i wanted was a time slot to repair. I also must state 3 days after leaving my headlight stops working on the same Mercedes this job is approximately 3k for repair. Further more id like to add the amount of off topic questions after completion of original job was very disrespectful and unprofessional. Try to give respect to get respect Mr Lydell.

I called Lydell Motors with an unknown issue with my car, Mark was so kind on the phone. I brought my car in, they found the issue, and had my car fixed and working very quickly. Highly recommend coming here for great service all around.

It's hard to find a mechanic that you feel isn't taking advantage or slabbing on a multitude of extras you 1) didn't expect and 2) can't afford. Mark and Kurt did neither. From start to the finish of our experience, we felt taken care of, and they absolutely held up to their claims: quality service with full transparency. I especially appreciated them taking our calls and questions prior to even coming in: we had recently gone to a dealership who wanted us to replace a pricey part of our car. Mark was suspicious of this given my car's mileage/age and went to task at heartily locating the real issue--offering me a 'second opinion'. Unsurprisingly, and much to our relief, it was not necessary to go to this dramatic expense. It spoke a lot to us of the integrity of this family run business that they didn't simply go the same route as the dealership (and maybe at a slightly more competivie price) ... in today's economy, that would be both easy and tempting. We would highly recommend this business and will trust our vehicles in the future with Mark and Kurt without hesitation. Oh, and it doesn't hurt that they are both kind, professional and nice to work with! SIX STARS because of that!

My wife and I were pleased to have found a local repair shop that is minutes away and whose crew serviced our vehicle with careful attention and made us feel valued--so many businesses make you feel like another transaction, this place is different. We had come to them for a second opinion and are glad we did--it saved us a lot of money, too. Mark and his brother spent much time in explaining what was wrong with our vehicle because they also took the time running many tests to figure out what exactly was the issue ... something the dealership did not do for us. Overall we recommend this business and would trust our vehicles to Mark again without hesitation.
