I came to Lydell Motors after first visiting a local Porsche dealer. I needed a second opinion on a bent rim that Porsche had quoted $2845 to replace, and I also needed tires. I found Lydell through Tire Rack's preferred installer list, had the tires drop-shipped there, and then reached out a few days later after they had arrived. From the first interaction, Mark and the others I spoke to were accommodating in a way that felt genuine rather than transactional. I scheduled an appointment, but then accidentally no-showed it due to a household communication breakdown so I didn't have the vehicle. When I called back weeks later to reschedule, there was zero guilt-tripping. No passive-aggressive comments. Just patience and understanding, and we set a new date. The work itself was excellent. They repaired the rim same-day so I wouldn't have to buy an entirely new one, handled the tire mount and balance, and the alignment. The cost was a tiny fraction of what the Porsche dealer quoted, and the car drives flawlessly again. However, what stands out most is how these guys operate when things get a bit complicated. The day of the appointment, I showed up a little late after dropping my daughter to daycare. Then I failed to mention at dropoff that I needed the car back by 5:15 to pick her up in Orange. By the time I did share that constraint, it was already 3pm. I went into worst case scenario planning mode and showed up to just grab the car seat from their shop at 4:30 and figure out the rest by getting an uber. When I arrived, they told me they had put two techs on the car after I called, and the car was already finished. I was, and still am, blown away by how they went above and beyond to help me when it was my mistake. That showed to me that these are people who care about their customers. I have not found a shop more considerate, hardworking, or accommodating. I will definitely be back.

I brought my car here for an oil change and oil pan replacement, and I had a great experience. They did very good work at a fair price. The owner and staff were all very nice, friendly, and easy to work with. I would definitely recommend them.

I had a check engine light from a front O2 sensor in my VW and they did a great job fixing it. I asked them to give my car a full look over and they let me know about an issue I was having with my e break. I think they even charged my AC for me without me asking because it was in need and when I drove off the lot it was coming out ice cold. This was during a heat wave. I'll be getting all my repairs done here. Staff is very friendly too.

Lydell was great! John was extremely helpful and told me exactly what was going on with my car. Had some carbon deposit in a VW intake manifold where he showed before and after cleaning horoscope pictures. These folks are clearly so passionate about their work and fair and communicative on cost and timing. The work came down to exactly the original quoted price. I would highly recommend them especially for German cars!

Mark was phenomenal! He was very professional, courteous, helpful and honest. I really appreciated his great customer service skills. I will definitely go back when needed.
